Siquijor is an island province of the Philippines located southeast of
Negros Oriental, south of Cebu, and southwest of Bohol Island.
Mountains are found in the interior part of the island while the coastal areas are flat. Rainfall is evenly distributed throughout
the year.

In 2007, 4 banks were operating in the province with total deposits of 689 million pesos. Poverty
incidence in 2006 sttod at 21.5%, well below the national average of 32.9% and the lowest in Central Visayas Region.
Municipalities
The province of Siquijor is composed of 6 municipalities namely:
