Pasay City is home to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the country's primary international gateway.
The city is bounded on the north by Manila, on the east by Makati and
Taguig, on the south by Paranaque, and on the west by Manila Bay.
It has a total land area of 14 square kilometers and is composed of 201 barangays.

Pasay City is the location of the SM Mall of Asia, one of the largest shopping centers in the world. It is also the
home of the Philippine Senate, Department of Foreign Affairs, Government Service Insurance System, and the World Trade center. Other
important landmarks in the city are the Cuneta Astrodome, Villamor Airbase, Coconut Palace, and the soon to be built Newport City, a
residential, commercial and entertainment complex.
