Profile

Pampanga is located south of Tarlac, west of Nueva Ecija and Bulacan, north of Manila Bay, and east of Zambales. With the exception of the high mountains in the northwestern side of the province and the 1,030-meter Mt. Arayat in the eastern side, terrain is mostly plain. Climate is characterized by two pronounced seasons: dry fom November to April and wet during the rest of the year.

With its stategic location and the presence of superb infrastructure, Pampanga is poised to become a center for small and large enterprises. The full development of the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport will rival Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Metro Manila as the main gateway of the Philippines. The province is linked with Metro Manila , Tarlac, and the international port of Subic via expressways that will soon be extended to as far as Aurora in the east and Pangasinan and La Union in the north. Already, the former Clark military airbase of the United States is a haven of foreign and domestic investors.
