Macalelon is a 4th class municipality located on the southern coast of Quezon Province.
It is bounded on the north by the towns of Pitogo and Gumaca, on the east by Lopez, on the south by General Luna, and on
the west by Tayabas Bay. The town is situated 226 kilometers southeast of Manila.
It has a total land area of 93 square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 30 barangays.
