Bongabong is a 2nd class municipality located in Oriental Mindoro. It is bounded on the north by Bansud, on the
east by East Mindoro Strait, on the south by the towns of Roxas and Mansalay,
and on the west by Occidental Mindoro. It has a total land area of square kilometers and is politically subdivided into 36 barangays.
Bongabong is 110 kilometers away from Calapan City, the provincial capital.
